Proccess: I emailed the program director with a resume and cover letter. A couple of weeks later, I received an email request for an interview. I interviewed with the the program director and the position's direct supervisor. The interview lasted about 30 minutes, and they asked some interesting questions which were relevant to the position's requirements (see below). The work culture was relaxed, but still professional. Hours can be self-scheduled and working from home was an option. There are times of high pressure and deadlines, but everyone seemed to get along very well. They seem to value a team atmosphere as well as self-motivation.
