Had an initial phone screen with the recruiter and then interview with the hiring manager. Was given indications I would be moving on to the next round despite not hearing form the recruiter again for 2 months. When he finally did get back to me it was to say that they were not hiring for the role anymore and "had tried to find something for me" but couldn't. I had a good experience with the hiring manager but the recruiter handling my application was quite unprofessional. Don't wait for so long to get back to people and don't try to make it sound like it took that long because you were trying to place them elsewhere when that is definitely not the case. (Also the salary range they offer for the years of experience they want is quite below market average)
