Upon entering the store and telling the nearest employee that I was there for an interview, I was told to browse the store for a few minutes. The interview I agreed to show up for was a one-on-one interview, which I specifically asked about when I received the phone call and the manager lied to me, saying I would be interviewed alone.
The actual interview was too casual and unprofessional. Aside from the fact that none of us agreed to a group interview, the bare minimum a professional manager could do would be to take us to the break room or a more private back room, not standing in front of the registers while they interview us. The actual interview questions were very typical, asking about our previous experience. But the manager also went on and on and on about the scam store credit card and it was very obvious that they just wanted to rush and get as many people shilling their scam cards for cheap labor.
