The first phone screen interview was pretty easy and the questions are standard questions you would expect. The phone interview was only about 10 minutes long. It was over very fast.

Months ago, I applied and reached out to recruiters on LinkedIn and never heard back. Fast forward to this month, and I had some help getting an in-person interview. I actually wound up meeting one of the recruiters who had ghosted me. There were two interviews. The first was a phone call with a recruiter and it felt more like she was trying to see if I’d accept a low paying job. The next day they brought me in to the office, but the two people I was supposed to meet were both late. Once the interviewer showed up, she didn’t even know my name and didn’t seem very interested in getting to know me, which is surprising given their senior role within the company. The other interviewer showed up to the interview at the very end, and it was incredibly awkward. I felt very thrown off by the entire experience, it did not seem like they had their stuff together. After that, they had me do a technical interview setting up a Virtual Machine. Then, they had me shadow someone for well over an hour. It felt like they forgot about me and didn’t really value my time. I was there for nearly 4 hours, and days later I still haven’t heard back from them. Very disappointing experience overall. Even if I was offered a job, I wouldn’t accept it. This company doesn’t seem to care about its candidates, and the pay is very low compared to similar companies. Cheaper is not always better.
