I would strongly recommend not applying to Cognolink. The interview process was a mess. The company outsources their hiring practices to an HR company in Arizona called Alexander Mann Solutions (no complaints against them, just saying) so the people interviewing you have absolutely no idea what they are talking about in reference to the company. Besides the procedural issues, the actual interview was also a disaster. First, when you apply you will be contacted for the initial phone screen by a recruiter who literally cc'd other candidates so they only needed to send one e-mail. Then, when that phone screen comes around, it will turn into an hour and a half long conversation that includes a basic case administered by someone who has very little background in the subject matter of the case. In addition to the botched questions, when you actually have a chance to discuss the position at hand (Research Analyst) you come to find that very little research is done. You're essentially a glorified call center operator. As someone who has hired others before, the entire process was very sloppy and discouraging. For me personally, this ended my interest in the company as a whole.
2 rounds. First round talk with senior research analyst, behavioral questions. Second round talk with team head, stock pitch, case study. Long discussion, taking around 90 minutes, asking everything in the cv
Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Third Bridge (New York, NY)

Dont let them trick you into thinking this is an actual research position. You will be cold calling people most of your day. The interview process is relatively simple, first spoke with a recruiter who passed me onto an in-person round. I never heard from them after that.

Given this case industry, what types of industry experts would you contact on behalf of a client who is looking to invest in a company within that sector.
Had an interview for Forum role in Hongkong. Straightforward interview. The recruiter was very pleasant and nice, she was very professional. Prepare for your understanding of the role, although she was very nice in explaining the role in details, you knew it’s a major concern if you have no idea about the position youre applying. She also provides transparent feedback which I really appreciates. Not all companies or recruiters do the same. I always see this recruiter in job fairs and she’s overall nice and very accommodating. I would recommend trying an interview as it will change your perspective about the company and the role.
