I don’t usually write reviews regarding interviews but this interview itself felt degrading and I felt the need to review it. I turned up on time, in fact a little early to ensure I was not late. I was asked to sit in the office. The lady at first meeting seemed really nice. However, as the interview started and continued it became obvious that she didn’t really care that much. It made me feel like she was incredibly disinterested and at times there were silent moments. I have a bachelors degree but she didn’t really ask anything regarding that, which is fine, but since it involves working with kids I thought it would be relevant. I came out of the interview thinking that my answers were good but her ‘don’t care’ attitude really just made me feel as though I won’t get it. I have yet to hear back but the interview itself has made me question if I would want to work with people that are so disinterested and don’t even try to hide it. Right at the end of the interview, the lady did not even say goodbye. She did not see me to the door, which, I thought was a normal way to say goodbye or atleast say something. But she just went silent and left me to ask if I was ok to leave, as I didn’t want to be rude. If they are like this with potential employees I can only hope that they are not like this with the children. The questions themselves were easy but the attitude of the interview just left me feeling like I am strange and dislikable.
