Said it was a phone screening but was actually a virtual interview with a team member. He was nice but I could tell he wasn't into doing the interview. I think they might have already had an internal candidate in mind and just took interviews for optics? I can see that I am not in the running for the position anymore, but they couldn't be bothered to email me a rejection so essentially I was just ghosted.
