AGE DISCRIMINATION! Attended a so called Hiring Event. They were doing ONE interview at a time and candidates had to wait more than 1 1/2 hours in silence inside a dirty, smelly, dated office, all while the receptionist sat there eating donuts and getting up for a cigarette. There were a mixture of candidates between the ages of 20 and 55. The younger candidates interviews lasted between 12 to 15 minutes and were asked multiple questions and the interviewer explained the position in detail (Everyone sitting in the waiting area could hear the interviews). The older candidates were given 5 minutes and each time the interviewer explained that the position is very physical, requiring that you be on your feet all day, carry a back, work in hot crawl spaces & attics and then asked is this something you are capable of doing. OLDER (40+) candidates were rushed in and out...UNACCEPTABLE Terminx! ALSO a manager from another Terminix branch that was in the office hand picked a younger candidate (who arrived after others) to interview for a weed abatement position.
