Spoke with the director of engineering, who seemed to just want information on various Lucene features. No reason was given for not getting the job. Apparently they wish to speak with me again, I of course have to refuse based on the first time.

I applied online. The process took about 1 day. I interviewed at Telenav (San Jose, CA) in January 2013. About 3 weeks later got the offer.

The department I apply is located at LA, formly Thinknear, acquired by Telenav. The first iteration is online coding test and second/third ones are phone interviews.
