I was contacted by a consulting firm. They scheduled interview, its very posh building. I was given written test about basic php and later interview by technical team leader. Interview was smooth no deep technical questions. At the end after getting selected they where negotiating with me to join on my existing package. My only question to them is if they where not having the budget to hire professionals, then why did they interview me in first place??
