A former colleague referred me and someone from HR reached out to schedule a call. The whole process was honestly amazingly amazing!
I had some crazy work fires I had to put out, so I unintentionally took a while to respond to the recruiters email to schedule an initial phone screen, but she was persistent. We had our initial screen and I felt comfortable and felt like I could be myself. The recruiter was very genuine and straightforward which I appreciated and her follow-up after our call for other interviews was prompt without delay.
All in all, my gut didn't give me bad juju's and knowing my colleague, it appears the company cultivates and tries to hire people that help each other out who are good people. I've had quite the opposite experience at startups.
So overall, I would say, I was surprised at how positive the experience was for a start-up in hyper growth mode.
