The interview process seemed to be very HR driven (I. E. Just checking the boxes). Otherwise the process was straight forward, there's 5 or 6 rounds and there is a practical assignment that took around 15 hours to prep for. It's a big investment if you don't get the offer, but they're assessing how well you'll do in front of clients so it makes sense. Recruiter responded real quick after each round, typically the same. However, there was radio silence from my VP interview until they made me an offer. It took so long I thought they moved on and just didn't feel like telling me,

Applied online and received an email from recruiter after 2 weeks. Recruiter asked some questions about background and work experience. I got passed to round two and was asked some behavioral questions, passed that, and got to round three.
At round three, I was given access to Platform and given a homework that consists of 5 min demo and 15 presentation based on a generic case-study. This work can take 15 hours or more. It is a big investment as it will take more than 20 hours to do. I presented and did my demo and thought I did great as I made connection with the panel. However, a week later I was provided with an email that thanked me for my time and indicated the position was closed. I get a feeling, I was probably one of the last candidates and a decision was made earlier, but they still made me wait. I also did not understand why TPM role required product description and demo since most of this is handled by the TAM. Good exercise overall.

Behavioral questions, such as a difficult time I had to deal with? How I handled it and what was the outcome? Questions along those lines.

Step 1. -Phone Screen: Typical Recruiter Phone Screen
Step 2. -Peer Interview: Basic behavioral questions
Step 3. Presentation Panel: 5 minute demo of the platform, followed by a mock presentation on increasing ROI with Tanium.
Step 4. Director Interview: Some behavioral questions, and why Tanium stuff.
Overall experience: Step 1 and 2, I felt welcomed and really like they were invested in my success. Step 3, I felt like the presentation went well however when I asked for feedback I got nothing. Step 4, I felt like the Director was trying to play stump the chump and was not very sociable at all. Everything up to this point was an organic conversation, the last interview felt like an interrogation. About a week later I received a rejection email, which I had no issues with. Unfortunately it was a generic form letter with misspellings and when asked for feedback I was told it was against company policy. How does that make sense, when you have me complete a 4 step process then don't send me an offer, how am I supposed to improve.
