Applied online where I sent was then sent 2 questionnaires to complete. After I completed those there was a phone interview which took around 30 minutes. Very straight forward questions and mostly going over your experience and what you know about the company. I was then asked to schedule an in person interview. I was interviewed by 2 employees which felt more like an interrogation. They were also very hypocritical towards my major. They kept asking me why I wasn’t doing something in marketing every time I answered a question. They then explained how they to had no idea they would end up in recruiting but kept hounding me on my major rather than listening to what I was saying. After the interview I followed up two times with each interviewer and never heard anything back. Finally weeks later I received a phone call and he told me they were not giving me an offer because I talked to much about marketing. How could I not talk about marketing when they kept bringing up my major and asking me to discuss my resume which has marketing internships. Word of advice: There is no major in recruiting so if someone is showing interest in your company and this position and like you stated “no one knows when they graduate they wanna do recruiting” then give them a shot like someone gave you!
