Application is online only. There's a personality-type assessment that takes about 30 minutes. You must pass this for an interview, and there is a 6-month waiting period before you can apply again if you don't pass. I was applying for a new, small-town/rural store so competition was likely low and the interview process may have been more casual. The manager called to set up a video interview because of covid. It was very casual and conversational, with fairly common questions for entry-level retail/sales work. After passing that, I was interviewed again by the manager's supervisor/district manager via video. Again, very casual. The manager informed me that day that I was offered the position and emailed links for onboarding.

What do you think your weaknesses might be in this position?
First there is an assessment, then an in-person interview with the manager of the store and another key holder or assistant manager, and finally a final interview with a secondary manager or district manager.

Tell me about a time you helped an upset customer. What actions did you take to assist them to give them a better experience?
The interview was mostly conversational and focused on sales, communication skills, flexibility, and how I would handle customer interactions. They asked behavioral questions like describing a time I worked under pressure, handled a difficult customer, or adapted to changes at work. They also wanted to know how comfortable I was approaching customers and recommending products or services

The store manager will reach out to you to setup a phone interview. From there you will have a video interview. In the video interview it will usually be the store manager and the district manager.
