Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en Sysco (Lakeland, FL) en jun 2022

      Entrevista

First there was a video interview which I have done before but after the video interview it got weird and unprofessional. I had received a message from the local area manager to call him at a certain time. Then I got sent an email stating to call now. I called during the time specified immediately he told me he was on the phone on a virtual conference and he would call me back. Then he texted me from his personal phone saying he was trying to call me and my phone was saying unavailable. I texted back saying that my phone was in front of me and I was not sure why it would say that but I would call him. When I called him he asked if my phone was on Do not Disturb I said no I checked and I had been receiving calls all day. He then proceeds to tell me he does not want to waste his time or mine and that he has people that are way more qualified to do this job than me. He said he had two guys both worked for Sysco for 10 years in sales and they are his front runners. He went on and on basically attempting to cut me down to size. It felt like this was the whole reason he wanted me to call him. I finally interrupted him not being able to continue to listen to the nonsense any longer. I said well being good in sales and being a good leader are two different things and although he kept saying how unqualified I was, I believe having over 25 years management, sales and DSM experience qualified me for this job. He said I love that you have such elevated confidence in a patronizing tone. He continued to go on to say I should stick with the field I’m in and not try for this position? Then he went on to tell me to apply for a Sales consultant job. Well which one is it then? I said and what does the pay look like for that job. I said well I make this much now, I knew that would upset him and could not see stepping out of management where I have been for twenty + years to a sales job especially one that only pays bonus and no commission. At this point I just wanted to end the call. My guess would be he saw me on the video interview and had made up his mind. Possibly because I am a woman and a minority. My impression was he was trying to CYA because he had no interest in hiring someone like me.

      Pregunta 1

They asked on the virtual interview if I was familiar with CRM and if yes how I utilized it in past jobs.
