Had an initial discussion with a peer in the channel that went very well and she suggested I speak to her boss the hiring mgr. Then sent through a referral internally. This was for their software Integrity group (SIG). I was then contacted by a recruiter. She was very aggressive and condescending. She said “right” about 50 times during the discussion. A big pet peeve of mine. She began rattling off a script about the company. Seemed annoyed that I was asking her questions she could not answer. She asked me to go back to 3 or 4 jobs ago to understand what my goal was and by what percentage I exceeded. When I asked about comp, she said it was posted on the job req and it depends on experience and location (which she already knew my location) and would have to get back to me. About 2 days later she called back to say she would not be moving me on in the process as I didn’t have the required application testing experience (although she never asked about it during the interview). I think she was just an angry, insecure vindictive person that wanted to derail my opportunity. If this is any indication of the culture, you don’t want to be there.
