It was probably the worst experience I've had in over 8 years of my career. After the recruiter sent me a Calendly link for a pre-screening call, all available slots were booked for the next three weeks. It wasn't until I raised a complaint that another recruiter stepped in, but they had almost no understanding of the role. The entire process was chaotic. There are seven interview rounds, each lasting an hour and spaced two weeks apart. After a month, I’ve only completed three and still have four more to go. Every round, a different coordinator sends the invites. It’s more bureaucratic than any company I’ve worked with in Germany. Then, out of nowhere, they informed me that the position was no longer hybrid Germany and I would need to be based in Berlin. Typically, the hiring process is the easiest way to make a good impression, but this company managed to fail miserably at it.
