When I was approached by Recruitment Lead I was quite excited, as company has a strong HR brand locally in Ukraine. We had a call over Zoom, but here it went downhill. She gave a short and not confident intro to the company. She shared a position suggestion with me that did not meet my profile. I was expecting that she would review profile prior to connecting and discussing any opportunity. She only asked me about my current responsibilities and then cut the call short. I certainly expected a higher level of business communication, empathy and professionalism.

Entrevista
Someone from the recruiting reached out to me and sold me about the role. I saw many high profile individuals heading over to Grammarly which got me Intrigued. The process was a bit longer than I’m used to but the recruiter set expectations with me and helped me understand the area the lineup would dig into. They dug heavy into me as individuals but it all makes sense now that I see the type of people we hire here. Low ego, humble, motives coworkers.

Entrevista
The interviewers are very nice and polite. They provide detailed information about the company, culture, and role. The interviewing process is challenging and counts 8 steps. It includes a few interviews with different recruiters, a test task and a couple of interviews with the management team.

Mostly I was asked about my experience and aspirations. The test task was interesting. I was given a challenging vacancy and was asked to find the proper profiles in Linkedin, describe my hiring strategy and provide an example of the email to a potential candidate
