An internal contact set me up for the interview. The first interview was fairly low key around technical content and personal interaction. It was somewhat challenging to sustain the conversation, English is obviously not their first language. But I managed to get the points through.
Second interview with higher level management went south right off the bat. Lots and lots technical details to the point of trivial, like the pin layout on Intel Ivy CPU. To make it worse, more personal questions on family status, parents kids wife and more. WTF? I am very familiar with this level of scrutiny when I applied for government clearance sitting in front of FBI agents , not at a commercial company.
Interview was concluded by a casual remark, "we work really hard here. do you"?

After the recruiter pre-screening, I expected a one-on-one interview with the hiring manager. However, it turned out to be an online panel with three interviewers, and I was the only one with video on. The setup was unexpected, but the questions were relevant to the role and my past experience.

I only had 2 rounds of interview, first one is a chat with hiring manager and the second one is a one hour round table interview with 4 cross functional team members.

Interviewed twice for different roles. One interview seemed like the hiring manager was quite a bit less senior than myself, thus the role was not well matched for my seniority or expectations. Another interview went relatively well, but some company specific areas where I was not familiar with were the only hesitation voiced and the interviewer asked for me to create a detailed 6 slide technical presentation on those areas to submit to him to determine if we could proceed further based on my ability to learn it...... I decided to take the punt and burn a weekend learning the specific technical content. It was all simple to grasp, but just took a long time to gather all the content, process and create the presentation. I sent the presentation, which in reality should have been sufficient to enter a second round interview. But I wasted a lot of my personal time with no tangible follow up from the interviewer.
