Acudí a una entrevista en Subway (Birmingham, Inglaterra)
Entrevista
Applied online. They reached out to me and offered an interview, went for the interview and got offered a trial shift. I needed work so I agreed, had me do all the unwanted jobs and cleaning, no prep or explanation for what I need to do to interact with customers. Then later said I didn't pick up how to interact with customers as one of the reasons I didn't hear back from them. It took me a month of following up to receive a clear rejection and not just be ghosted. The trial shift was unpaid.
Very simple and straightforward. Normal questions like availability, have you worked in food service before, etc. I think it depends on location though since friends at other locations have had more substantive or less substantive interviews.
Straightforward and professional with typical fast food interview questions. Friendly and easy to talk to interviewers. Reasonable length and in person made it more comfortable. Great experience and easy interview.
Was pretty average hospitality interview process, focus on customer service in a fast paced environment, how to deal with stress, team work/ collaboration, company values, and your past experience. and availability etc.
