      Entrevista

      I applied online, and the interview took place online. Overall this was the best interview process I had. After applying, I got greeted by the recruiter and got supplied a test which I had to complete within some timeframe and send back. The test included a core task and an optional one. Afterwards I was given a key to play the game and submit high-level feedback. Once that was done, an one-on-one interview followed, and later I was presented with an offer which I accepted.

      Entrevista

      A polite and pleasant hiring manager conducted the first round. I asked about the negative reviews on glass door and I was told things had improved. I asked about remote work schedules and distribution of tasks, and while I did get some answers, overall there was not much detail to their answers. I was informed that the hiring process involved creating a mini game in Unity within 24 hours as a test, and I was to record my screen while doing it. I was to submit this mini game and the recording of it to them. Only after that would I be admitted to a second round of interview with the technical team, who could possibly do a live code test. I was also asked to provide feedback on their game. If I got past all of that, then and only then would I get to know what exactly the compensation would be. So I was expected to do a significant amount of work just to get to the second round, at which point I might not even have wanted the job based on the pay. It was a red flag in terms of how little my time was valued, not to mention the time of their own staff who would have to take time from their daily routine to evaluate my submission. All that work could have been wasted just because they didn't want to share pay information, which costs them nothing to share. Overall I was not impressed the suggested hiring procedure and did not feel like my time (or theirs for that matter) was valued. Subsequently withdrew my application.
