I applied through a recruiter. The process was supposed to be several interviews (company fit and technical skills). After an interview with a project manager, I got a take-home assignment and completed it. I sent the task for review and a week later got a reject email saying there was a candidate with a better psychological fit. I asked but didn't get any further feedback or take-home assignment review results which could be helpful. A bit of a time waste in general, would be reasonable from their side to give a bit more feedback if they give take-home assignments.
