Applied online in March, phone interview came about two weeks later. Emp was very pleasant and fully described job duties, pay, and benefits up front. The questions need specific answers, use the STAR model! Questions like,"Tell me about a time you made a work decision." She asked me 3 questions and when I asked her what my chances were, she said she would recommend me to HR/management but it was up to them for the final decision. Then nothing happened, no email or phone call after. I moved on and in May they sent me an email saying they had a job that I might be interested in, it was the same job I applied for in Mar but now it showed 2 openings. I applied again online and two days later via email my phone interview was set. Thw day came, it was the same interviewer! She called, saying we actually already interviewed and asked me if I had any questions, I told her I was good and she said the start date would be either 6/22 or 7/6. Next step was face to face at office with hiring management. Two weeks went by and they finally emailed me offering face to face interview first week of June. I had two interviewers, again both very nice and welcoming. They asked me questions like: Tell me about a time you had to deal with a difficult coworker/customer...the Situation and Result of each...Again use STAR model. Another question: Tell me about yourself and your qualities, Tell me about a time you had to make a management decision. Be very prepared!! I feel like I did well, its been 3 weeks today since face to face and no word yet if I was chosen or not. If your looking for an immediate paycheck/job, State Farm isn't the route to go. You have to be patient. HR has been very nice, I've emailed them a couple of times and they tell me management is still making their decisions. Hope to update saying I got the job soon!
