I applied online through there website and the following week the recruiter emailed me to set up a phone interview. After the phone interview, she sent me another E-mail with dates to meet with 2 district managers. When I got to the interview site, one manager was asking questions and the other manager was taking notes.

Phone interview with a recruiter who expects STAR style answers. The questions are pretty standard and easy to find online, so prep isn’t hard. Honestly, the toughest part, if you’re already an internal employee, is getting the interview in the first place. You really have to show your managers that you’re serious about moving into the role.

For an external hire, pretty normal for an interview. For an internal hire, they basically want you to answer as if you were a robot. They want you to answer by telling a story in the STAR format (Situation, Task, Action, Result)
