Pros: The immediate contact from the company was great, coming back to me the same day I sent in the application. An initial virtual meet and greet with the HR rep went smooth. Immediately after they setup a second interview with the hiring manager. He also really enjoyed the conversation and said I possessed a great skillset for the positon and had a great resume. They had other candidates they were going to look at, but I should expect to hear from them the next week for a third and final interview. Specifically he said "We will not leave you hanging in the wind." Cons: They did just that. Over the next two weeks there was radio silence from the company. Even after sending three politely worded emails asking for a simple response on if I was still being considered, they offered nothing. I ended up having to call and talk to someone in the company to contact HR. Then they immediately sent me the form letter (from a non-work account) that the position was filled.
