The process took about 4 weeks. First was technical interview which went pretty smooth. Second step was a STAR based behavioural round. This went good as well. I didn;t hear back from them for the next 2 weeks and they came up with another behavioral interview. I gave it.
After 3 days of the final interview, the recruiter reached out to me and gave a verbal offer, shared the compensation details and the benefits they offered. I agreed with the offer. She told me to wait for the offer letter as it takes a day to process.
Next week, I was reached out again by her and she says that the offer can not be processed as the team has re evaluated their needs so they are taking the position on hold. Very disappointing and unprofessional after weeks of interviewing and giving out the verbal offer.
