I applied online through careerbuilder for this part-time position thinking that it would be a good opportunity to do some work while I continued my search for full-time employment. My background is in journalism, so my skills suit the position well as the primary requirements were in editing, writing and design. I had a telephone interview five days after I applied. This was just a 10-minute overview, which didn't seem to give either of us enough information to determine if we would want to move forward to an in-person interview.
