Splunk recruiter sent a message in LinkedIn and proposed for consideration a new role inside the company. Process: 1. Call with a recruiter (~30 mins). 2. Interview with hiring manager (~45 mins). 3. Three interviews with Engineering, Product, Program Management leaders (~45 mins for each). As far as I know, an additional interview with HR is required for roles where people management is in the scope. However, I did not participate any interview with HR specialists, so cannot confirm this step. The worst thing, the recruiter did not return with ANY feedback even after a direct message with a polite request for it. Later, I saw that the role gone from the Splunk website. From my point of view, it is absolutely unprofessional to ignore candidates who were on later stages of hiring process. Company has to let a candidate know why he/she does not fit the role. At least, company can say "sorry, another person was selected for this role. Let's stay in touch, bla-bla-bla ...." but Splunk does not do it. I suppose, Splunk is a good company, but such unprofessional behaviour of the recruitment team kills any intention to consider the company as potential employer.
