The Spectrum/Charter interview experience was terrible. It shows a disorganized, uncaring recruitment effort, and clearly demonstrated that it is not an organization worth signing on to.
After applying, a Charger recruiter emailed asking to speak. I followed up several times, but did not hear back.
A week later, another recruiter set me up with an interview event, scheduled for a specific time slot. After waiting 1.5 hours past the scheduled time of my interview, I was interviewed briefly by a nontechnical manager who wanted to meet me. He said he wanted me to speak to his team during the next day or two, and that I would hear back to have that scheduled. I never received communication about that either.
Seven weeks later, I received an email stating that I was no longer under consideration because I had failed to respond to their communication attempts. I had not received any emails or voicemails.
I emailed the recruiters back. After a week, one asked if there was a time I could speak. I responded immediately and never heard back.
They show zero respect for applicants or their time, and I suspect employees will get the same treatment.
