Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. El proceso tomó 5 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en SpaceX (Hawthorne, CA) en feb 2016
Entrevista
I was flown to the Hawthorne office to give a one hour technical presentation, followed by eleven 30 minute interviews. Some of the interviews were technical, some personality. Four of them had me down on the factory floor talking about various components of the rocket. The rest of the interviews were in a small conference room with whiteboard walls. Most of the interviewers had me explaining projects I'd done in the past, and the whiteboards were a huge help. I met people who would be on my future team, including my future manager. I interviewed with everyone from brand new employees (4 weeks in) to a VP who had been there 10 years.

Tell me about a time that you messed up, and what you did to fix it.
Down on the factory floor I was asked things like, "What is this, what does it do, how was it made and why did we make it that way?" Very open ended, but gives a lot of room to show off analytical and problem solving skills.
The interview process for spaceX is meticulous. They have several rounds and ask college knowledge of engineering principles. Be sure to brush up on these before going into the interviews

Intro phone interview. Asked behavioral and a few technical questions regarding physics and engineering. Asked general questions about my resume and went into detail asking me specifics about various situations I was in during previous positions.

Imagine you take a balloon, fill it up, and place it in the freezer. What changes when you take it out after 30 mins?
Mix of technical and behavioral questions, friendly but challenging interviewers. Lots of rounds between phone and onsite but it is a worthwhile experience. Very passionate but down to earth team
