      Entrevista para Product Manager

Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 6 días. Acudí a una entrevista en Snapsheet (Minneapolis, MN)

      Entrevista

First call was great - got an overview of the company, the role, the interview process, hiring team, etc. They did an excellent job getting me excited about the opportunity. Made it past the initial interview, and the next step was another phone interview. I was told it would run anywhere from 30-60 minutes, which was interesting (and definitely can be hard to plan around with another job/interviews). We got the interview scheduled. As a note, I was told the interview process would be the initial phone screen, the next interview, and then a ~2.5 hr interview with leadership. A few hours before the interview starts, I get an email that they need to move the interview, so I provide more times and we reschedule. The morning of the rescheduled interview, I get another email that they again need to move the interview by 15 minutes. 15 minutes after the re-rescheduled interview was meant to start, I get an email saying that the person I was supposed to interview with had a meeting running over but that they're available two business days later. I withdrew my candidacy; if schedules are constantly getting shifted in such a way where interviews keep getting bumped, it seems like the position is actually a very low priority hire or that there are some deeper issues within the organization.

      Entrevista

There were 5 rounds: Phone screen, hiring manager screen, interviews with a representative of product, design, and engineering, a product case exercise, and final with the CTO. My recruiter, Kyrsa, was awesome, very clear and communicative through the whole process!

Me postulé a través de un reclutador. Acudí a una entrevista en Snapsheet en abr 2026

      Entrevista

The initial screening was by a recruiter that reached out to me on LinkedIn. She indicated that there would be 5 rounds of interviews and a take home assignment that would be reviewed by the team and discussed at later stages. I spoke with the recruiter and hiring manager and then spoke with one of the product managers, an engineering manager, and a designer. Overall the conversations were pleasant, but knowing that there was that much bureaucracy involved in the hiring process was a big red flag for me. If companies can't figure out if they want to hire a candidate with a few discussions, they are hiring wrong. Snapsheet appears to be in the model of running applicants through a gauntlet of interviews and hoping that there's a perfect candidate somewhere in the mix. I don't have a lot to say other than the process seems excessive.
