Firstly, the position was keyword researcher only & not a full SEO position. They had a pop quiz project that served based on keyword research. They then had me take them step by step through how I went about doing keyword research. One employee who I interviewed with had me work in their spouse’s personal business page. This was completely inappropriate & unprofessional. It turns out that this whole job listing is an opportunity for SmartAsset to have SEO candidates come in & teach them how to do SEO. This company has absolutely no intention of hiring a SEO Analyst. They are not going to buy a cow, when they have come up with a means of getting the milk for free.
