Every discussion I had with the team at SmartAction was professional, informative and positive. That being said... the entire process was misleading. I got the sense that, although they took the time to inform me about the previous "regime change" and how things are better there now, there's still some red flags there. After several successful interviews with them (one where I suggested traveling to a team who was in town to meet them in person), I was told "you're the front runner, the team really likes you, you can expect to hear from us about an offer on (this specific day)"... to which I was ghosted for nearly two weeks after that day came and went. When I reached out several times after that, all I got was a cold and short email with an apology and a rejection, with no explanation as to why I wasn't the right candidate for the role.
