      Entrevista

      I was asked about automation and manual initially and I told them I am much comfortable with manual testing. Hence the interview was taken for manual testing and after 3-4 days I got a message that I am selected and they wanted me to meet them for the final HR round. In my first round only they had given me a screening form to fill which included details like previous company leaving reason , current and expected salary etc.. When I visited their office for my last round I went through the below mentioned questionaire: 1. Mr. Jayaram asked me the reason of my job change which I told him respectfully and also asked me what was I doing to upgrade myself to automation during ny break. First if all , it is none of his concern and secondly I do not wish to work in automation anyways but still he kept asking me such questions and he had a nagging tone all the while. 2. He said I have zero automation skills so he will be keeping me on 6 months probation and then they will think if I am performing well or not. Also they said they will pay me the same package as before. This was very very insulting because I hold a 5 yrs of experience and this performance probation was out of my scope. Secondly, why to call me there if they cant pay me the package I expected. They could have called and told me that this is what we can give and if you are still interested, please visit us and we can discuss. I spent 3 hours and alot of money to reach to their office and Mr. Jayaram behaved as if I am some beggar who came to beg a job to him. Please do not go to this company guys. I have had the worst experience in my whole career.

      Greetings. We would like to state the following with regard to the review posted by you. The purpose of an interview is to discern each other's point of view and understand the equation. Keeping this in mind, you were invited for an interview at our office while noting the fact that you reside in close vicinity (Thane). We would also like to state that nowhere has it been communicated to you that you have been selected. Please find attached a screenshot of the exchange of messages for your kind reference. With regard to the scope of your work, do kindly note that while we agree that you had clearly mentioned your comfort with manual testing, the aspect of automation was only discussed as a possible option, which would have been an added feather in your cap and was in no way an imposition nor a pre-requisite for your selection. Our understanding was to recruit you for manual testing only, but at the same time - would you have had a liking for automation that would upgrade your skill as well - as the space that we were coming from. Your entire experience to date was in a BPO environment and not in the Software Industry. It would also be prudent to note that you have had breaks at regular intervals in your career, due to which out of a total of 8/9 years, your actual work experience is around 4.8 years. Our questionnaire was based on keeping the above points in mind to explore and understand more about your expertise. The 6 month period was for us to ascertain your areas of expertise as per the industry standards, while at the same time giving you a platform with an established Software Services company. Salary negotiation is part of any company's interview process. With your experience, you should have known that this is normal. The negotiation may or may not work out depending on mutual acceptance. We believe a candidate should have an open mind and understand the reasons for certain questions during an interview, as such meetings help build relationships, which we value highly.
