Applied through their site--good. Call with in-house recruiter--hit it off. Fun conversation. He obviously likes working there. On the call he said I was moving to the next step, which was to take a standardized test (CCAT) and followed up with the link. The test--good? I took the 15-minute timed test. Did some research in advance to see what types of logic/math questions would be included. Felt like I did pretty well, but who knows. Follow-up: About a week later I received a "thanks but no thanks" email. I have no idea if it's because I didn't score well enough on the test or if I wasn't a fit for the role. Tried following up with the recruiter but didn't receive any other communication. I'm all for having a standard test, but now I'm discouraged from applying for anything else with the company despite seeing several positions that could be a great fit. Advice: Provide a little more feedback on disqualification. Even one sentence in the 'no thanks' email would be helpful. It doesn't leave a positive brand impression of the company. Overall disappointing experience.
