Entrevista
Four interview process.
First interview with Director of PaaS. A description of Smarsh products and PaaS Engineering technical stack and team hierarchy was given. I had to go through my experience at a high level and talk around how I like to work within teams and the kind of technical challenges I enjoy.
Second interview with PaaS Team Lead. Again very much a two way process with more technical and day to day detail of the team. I was asked to go through more detailed explanations of technical and soft skill experience.
Third interview with Senior Cloud Platform Architect in PaaS Team. This was a much more detailed chat around the technical stack at Smarsh and a deeper dive into my technical experiences and knowledge of most of the parts of that tech stack.
Forth interview with all three of the previous interviewers together. I thought this would be less technical but was the most technical of all the interviews, with each interview picking out details in my answers and asking for more detailed explanations.
Overall the interviews were a two way dialogue in a relaxed manner (compared to other companies) and enjoyable as interviews go. Especially welcoming was the fact that they were interested in all my experiences and not just the latest technologies, with them respecting my experience given on my CV and not asking very pointed technical questions about the latest specific products.
