      Entrevista

      Initial screening interview followed by serial one-on-ones with various levels of management. No really difficult questions, folks were pleasant and informative. I heard a lot about the importance and emphasis on maintaining the culture and recent improvement of benefits based on employee feedback. Did not hear as much about the new 20/20 strategy as I would like to know.

      Entrevista

      After 3 interviews they still refuse to provide compensation ranges, as they are selling the fantastic culture. Both HR and my direct report (boss) are unwilling to have a normal conversation and it’s impossible to ask basic questions because Slalom are talking in a hard sell monologue about how great the company is. I’m told the glass door reviews are pushed on employees and that the pay is 2.0-30% below fair market value. I’m getting g the vibe, the folks I’m dealing with in HR and management are very unethical, non transparent, manipulating, fast talking and unwilling to have an open conversation because their afraid of surfacing the salary is well under Fair market value. I’ve read all the glass door reviews, and spoke to 3 people that work at Slalom and it’s consensus that it’s an awful culture.

      Entrevista

      Applied online. Recruiter was very timely in response and set up in person interview. In person went very well (so I thought) but a day later got the thanks but no thanks e-mail. It appears that age is a huge factor in their hiring decisions. If you are over 40, don't bother applying. They advertise they want 12 - 15 years experience but also want someone who is 30. All in all very friendly, but apparent that age discrimination exists.
