There weren't explicit questions as much as a discussion about compatibility and fit. My intention going in was to better understand what Slalom wants to accomplish, what's the culture like, whether I can do the kinds of work I want to do with a balance given between autonomy and support from the leadership.
My first interviews with consultant managers weren't as well prepared as I would have liked, but I did communicate that feedback to the recruiter but all the interviewers were very open and transparent and I enjoyed speaking to them. There was also some confusion in terms of what role they were considering me for and because their org structure is different than what most people are used to, it was difficult for me to get a clear answer. So, I would be in an interview and I'd get asked which position I'm aiming to get, I'd say "well I don't know what the title is but I can tell you here are the things I want to do..." And I'd get a confusing response. I only got the clarity I was looking for when I spoke with the senior leadership and they seemed very clear on where they saw me.
