Unfortunately, the current hiring process does not yet feel mature or well-run. Multiple interviewers, including the process owner, did not seem well prepared to conduct interviews effectively. While the interviews themselves were the correct level of difficulty, the structure and execution of the process raised concerns. The number of interviews, their scheduling, and the way they were conducted felt inefficient and poorly coordinated. This led to several red flags about what working at the company might be like day to day. The technical interview was the one clear positive experience. It was well run, engaging, and respectful. In contrast, other rounds involved unusual or poorly framed questions, answers being ignored and interrupted, interviewers appearing disengaged, and one interview being ended around ten minutes early even though we weren’t finished. Communication throughout the process was inconsistent, with contradictory emails, fluctuating levels of responsiveness, and unclear or contradictory feedback. A large number of candidates also seem to be taken through to late stages only for most of them to be rejected, which feels inefficient and avoidable. Overall, the process would benefit from greater structure, clearer communication, and more respect for candidates. Even before receiving the final outcome, the experience left me with a negative impression, to the point that I was already noting process improvements I would have brought to the team if I had joined.

The process was very systematic. It involves like 4-5 rounds. First round was application, you were asked a different sets of questions but using their hiring site. Many questions were asked. Second is technical challenge. I was asked to pair program, and they asked some tech questions.
