I went through an interview process for a role based in London.
I had an ok screening with a recruiter, followed by a tech interview shortly after. The developer I spoke with was friendly, easy to talk to, and ran a straightforward refactoring exercise.
What let the process down entirely was the aftermath. I was told to expect a communication within two working days of the next stage. After three passed with no word, I followed up. A response came a week later saying they'd moved forward with another candidate. When I asked for feedback, I was ignored - weeks later, still nothing.
The people doing the actual technical work seem solid. The recruitment process, less so. Go in with low expectations around communication.
