It is mostly through referrals. I met the CEO after I was introduced to a person working at Silver Leaf. Casual conversation for 30 minutes. If you can prove that you have enough investor or manager relationships, you will be most likely accepted. It is all commission base.

People usually come to the door through referrals by those at Silver Leaf. Interview by the CEO only. He looks for your connections to investors or to fund managers/deal flows along with your past relevant experience. I got a verbal offer on the spot. The process was straighfoward and quick.
