Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 1 día. Acudí a una entrevista en Signify en feb 2019
Entrevista
A completely unprofessional mess:
1. I applied online in the morning for a position in Mexico (where I live), and that same day in the afternoon someone from the recruitment team for the Latin America (in Panama) sent me an email asking me when I could be available next week for a phone call (as they wanted to know more about me). The email had a .DOCX document attached (for the initial questions of the phone interview).
2. I sent them back the .DOCX answering the questions, and I told them about the day and time I could be available for the phone interview. I kindly ask them if that day and time would be good for them.
3. After that email, that same day in the evening, I received another one from the same person asking me where I could be available for an onsite meeting next week too (even if the .DOCX document I sent them also asked me where I could be available for an onsite meeting). They also asked me if the location of the Mexican offices was good for me.
4. I kindly reply that I hadn't any problem at all going to their Mexican offices as I had been there plenty of times before. I also tell me where I could meet the Mexican manager, and asked them it that day was good for them.
5. I never received any reply after that. So the next day the first thing I did in the morning was to sent them an email asking them if they had received my email with the dates I gave them for the phone call and the onsite meeting. No answer at all that day, any confirmation about the date, or the person I would see in the interview, nothing.
6. Five days later, I sent another follow up email, telling them that I was so excited about the opportunity (I'm really excited, I have heard Signify is a wonderful place to work as a Lighting Designer as my career is very limited here at Mexico). I also contact them to tell them I have some questions about the interviews (if I could assume that the next week they would phone me first and after that I could have that onsite meeting). Again, nothing.
So I don't know what really happenend. I have realised that they don't even check their messages in LinkedIn (I had contact this person in Panama a year ago to ask them if they knew any opportunity of joining Signify as I have always wanted).
In Mexico, people usually confirms any date related to any meeting, always! In this case, I didn't understood if I had to call them the day and time I gave them as a possibility for a phone and onsite meeting. Even if I sent them an email telling them I had a lot of questions about the process (I had not understood some stuff), they never contacted me again.

Pregunta 1
Current salary and expectations, current benefits, preferences for outside career opportunities, current role, studies and languages. Are you interested in a position which is a mix between of Lighting Design experience and commercial side?
