I found about the opening through Shoplogix's careers portal and contacted Nikita Khara (HR professional) to review and screen for the job posting. She was prompt in scheduling an interview and I got an opportunity to meet Professional Services Manager and Program Manager at Shoplogix. The interview was fairly bi-directional and quite interactive. The environment was professional and the organization despite being highly competitive gives a fair opportunity to the candidates. Although I did not qualify and ball was dropped after consideration, I must say that the entire process was encouraging and learning experience was exponential. Sometimes when you want to succeed desperately you end up freezing and blowing away your chance. I just wish I was more relaxed during the interview and I might have created a fair chance for myself since I had put in so many hours researching and preparing for the interview. I have interviewed and interacted with a lot of HR professionals in the past and I must say that this by far was one of the most happy experience. If I was an HR professional, I would look upto Nikita for her professionalism and demeanor. Looks like a fun place to work at.
