I had an overall bad experience. I applied for this position months ago via referral and at the time received an generic email informing they decided to move forward with other candidates. This month, a recruiter from Shopify contacted me via LinkedIn asking me to apply to this same position. I explained to him that I already applied before and they declined, but he recommended me to apply again, so my application would be reactivated. I applied and one day later received an invitation for the phone screening (done via Zoom meeting). The interviewer was not the same as in the Google invitation. I felt that the interviewer lacked interest in my application. The interview was scheduled for one hour but she said it would take only 10-15 minutes. I was asked general behavioural questions but nothing about my background. Five minutes before the interview end she started saying goodbye, and she did not give me space to ask questions about the company. I checked their LinkedIn page and saw that they opened a new job posting for "Junior Support Advisor". This new position was just a 3-month temporary job with possibility to extend for full time. I have a strong feeling that they decided to change this position to temporary.
