Applied online and got a response 5 business days later with a test email to handle. Three days later, I had a phone interview.
The moment I divulged that I was physically disabled, the entire tone of the interview changed and my interview was cut short. IT'S VERY CLEAR THAT THEY DO NOT WANT DISABLED PEOPLE WORKING THERE.
I was sent a follow up email without much explanation as they conveniently hid behind the veil of privacy.
Someone else had also remarked that they were not hired due to a disability and another person was not hired because of their age. I submit that Shopify only wants young fit employees they can mold.
I should mention that I have 16+ years experience in customer service (including 8 years working remotely) and experience with having a Shopify store. I am completely qualified.

The email task was to explain how to remove the powered by Shopify link.
El proceso tomó 4 días. Acudí a una entrevista en Shopify (Christchurch, ) en may 2019
Entrevista
Casual first interview, it was mainly a chat about my life and interests. One question that threw me was about where I found inspiration from as a graphic designer. I got through to the next round of the interview process called "the Gauntlet".

Tell me about your previous work. What were your responsibilities?
Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. Acudí a una entrevista en Shopify en feb 2019
Entrevista
First interview was about my personal life and story. Interviewer didn't seem to be too interested and it felt like a conveyer belt interview.
Second interview was a practical and simulated experience. Was actually really difficult and they were asking questions that you aren't trained for. Shopify say it is about your ability to provide good service. But they also really want for you to know the answers (even when they say they don't).
