Received an email from HR the same day I applied for the role which they asked for my certificate and transcript and that they will be setting up an interview. I find this to be quite a strange process to collect certificate and transcript as the first interaction with a candidate. I get it if they are collecting educational certificates and transcripts from final shortlisted candidates as a form of document validation but when there's not even an interview set up? Apparently I heard that they do it for every single candidate. Never mind, supporting documents sent as requested and they never came back. Recruiter ghosted after that despite a follow up email.
