Phone screening with HR was chill, sharing about the basics and the role. The first round with the hiring manager included a self-introduction, behavioural questions, and a few case studies. Overall, the vibes from the hiring manager were great, asked really technical questions, but was also very engaged in the conversation. The second round of interview with another stakeholder, however, was off-putting. The interviewer was clearly not interested, and it seems they were present only for KPI purposes. Did not even bother to introduce themselves and their relevance. The interviewer was eager to end the call. There was also an assessment that had to be completed prior to the interview. HR did not provide any instructions for the interview, nor were there any updates or follow-up. What a waste of time.
