      Entrevista

      The interview process started with a 30-minute phone call, which was more of a get-to-know-you session. It helped Shield AI understand who I was and gave them a chance to explain the position I was applying for. Initially, I applied for the V-Bat Air Vehicle Operator position. The second interview was a 1-on-1 over Teams, lasting about 30-45 minutes. It was after this interview that they mentioned the possibility of joining their maintenance team, and I said yes, even though I wasn't too sure about my experience in that area. I received an email after the second interview saying it went well and that I was selected for a third interview, which would be very different from the first two. This third interview lasted about 3 hours and covered topics like teamwork, my technical skills, and why I thought Shield AI was a good fit for me. It was after this interview that they offered me a position on the XFT team instead of maintenance. Shield AI was pretty quick in getting back to me after each interview, but they do take their time in evaluating candidates to find the best fit. So, don't worry if you don't hear back right away after the third interview. It took almost a full month for me to hear back with confirmation that I got the position.

      I had a great interview experience with Shield AI, and I can't say enough about how professional, responsive, and thorough their hiring process is. I was in the midst of changing career fields and had interacted with various hiring teams across different industries. Shield's HR team was by far the best I've encountered! I started with an informal informational interview with the hiring manager, which then led to the official hiring process with HR. We had a detailed call about the role I was applying for, followed by three consecutive interviews the next week with different team members. This included a presentation to a panel. I received my job offer shortly after these interviews, which I accepted. What stood out to me was the emphasis on culture fit and value alignment. While there was a technical interview, the majority of the conversations focused on values, behavioral questions, and how they aligned with Shield’s core principles. Each person I spoke with genuinely cared about who would be joining their team, rather than just going through the motions of an interview. HR was extremely responsive and organized, making the entire process seamless. I initially met with the hiring manager through an informal informational interview and then was connected to HR for the official hiring process. I had an initial call with HR to cover the details of the role I was applying for which was then followed up a week later with 3 consecutive interviews with varying members of the teams I would be working on and with.
