Mostly internal hires for this position. You apply internally and there is a lot of pre-application discussions that the management seems to want you to have before you apply. Almost like you need permission to apply for what you want to apply for. You apply online and the application is pretty simple, a few q&a, but they expect you to come to the interview with a full strategic plan for the territory ready to go. The more professional and well developed the strategic plan the better your chances. You get one in person interview for average sized territories. For large and critical territories you may have two, or one with a panel. Often the decision is based on who they want for the position unfortunately.

They asked for opportunities I see in the territory and how I would address them.
A multi stage hiring process, very basic behavioural questions. First round starts with your sales manager; second round with the District Sales Manager, and then a panel interview with VP of sales & HR. I also had to prepare a territory plan and present it to my sales manager.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? What’s your leadership style? How do you approach sales?
The interview was intercompany and was conducted via teams. Didnt feel like it mattered as the decision was made prior to the interview. Afterwords it took a while to get the response back I was looking for.

Entrevista
The interview was formal. I found the questions to be quite standard: Tell us about yourself, what interests you in this position? What are your strengths and weaknesses? Provide examples of a conflict you experienced in the workplace and how you resolved it.
