      So...there are 7 rounds of this company's interview process. I have no idea why they cannot be consolidated or planned in a more logical order. The first round is a get-to-know-you call with a couple of product people. Then, there is a take-home design challenge and you also submit a 5-minute video explaining your design choices. Third, I had a compensation expectation discussion with a manager. Fourth, there is a "deep dive" into your resume and professional background...this is where it got weird for me. Their questions were odd and did not feel like the behavioral questions I've gotten in other interviews. Only 5-minutes out of a 1-hour call was devoted to discussing my UX case studies...and this was an interview for a UX role. While this was the end of the road for me, the next steps would have been a 30-min meeting with a software engineer, a 30-min meeting with 2 more product people and finally, they call 2 of your professional references. This process was incredibly frustrating and I continuously got weird vibes from this company. Not considerate at all of the interviewee's time and honestly just not worth it. It's important to establish trust between an employer and potential future employee, and that is just something this company needs to get better about prioritizing early on.
